Golf Tournament - SOLD OUT

The 2011 Ghost Tree Invitational Golf Tournament is moving to the famed Sunriver Resort and Crosswater Club. Honored by Golf Digest as one of "America's 100 Greatest Courses," and host of the 2007 - 2010 JELD-WEN Tradition major championship, Crosswater is a heathland-style course situated on 600 magnificently scenic acres of woodlands and carefully preserved wetlands.

It was not a easy decision to leave Pronghorn but in order for the Ghost Tree to grow it's celebrity auction and other elements that are important for moving the event forward it became clear that Sunriver Resort was a great option. With the new venue and event partner in Sunriver Resort we will now be able to move the Celebrity Auction indoors and provide accommodations for all of our celebrities at one location, all on site at the event. In addition, we can now offer lodging packages for every guest so you can stay a night or spend the entire weekend at the beautiful Sunriver Resort during Ghost Tree weekend.

The golf tournament is taking place on Friday the 12th of August, we will once again feature a double shotgun golf tournament, taking place at 7:30am and 1:30pm. The format for 2011 is going to be a four person shamble, or a five person shamble if you purchase a celebrity from the Celebrity Auction the night before. Carts will be provided for each foursome and celebrity. You will need to take a minimum of 2 drives per person. The popular BBQ lunch buffet will return from 11am to 2pm. If you do not have a valid USGA handicap then you must send us (Ryan Chackel 63088 NE 18th Street Suite 200 Bend, OR 97701) three scorecards from rounds in the last 6 months and we will develop a tournament handicap for you. If you do not do this, then you will be given a 0 handicap for the tournament. Please let us know if you'd like a tournament handicap, this cannot be done the day of the event or even the day before. In order to be fair to the entire field, we need to either establish the tournament handicap or give you a 0 handicap for the event.

Teams are limited to the first 60 groups. Please see our Tix/Registration page for more information on the cost of foursomes, different packages are available if you want to add lodging at Sunriver Resort or bid on a celebrity as well.

Enjoy some food and drinks as you bid on a celebrity to join your foursome the next day. We're having 25 to 30 sports and entertainment celebrities go up for bid so if you want to add a fifth player to your group for Friday and not only get a leg up on the field by adding a player, you can also get to know one of our celebrities during your round and make a new friend. Each celebrity will be featured in a short presentation and brought up on stage to be interviewed by our hosts for the evening before being auctioned off. In addition, we will be featuring a sports memorabilia silent auction with autographed items from Peyton Manning, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Ken Griffey, Jr, Felix Hernandez and many more.

The format for the 2010 Ghost Tree Invitational golf tournament is a four person scramble. The teams that bid on and won a celebrity on Thursday night the 26th will have a fifth player in their group that can participate as a member of the group for the day.
