Welcome to the official website of the Ghost Tree Invitational at Pronghorn, presented by Gusto Magazine, Clear 101.7 and the Pronghorn Foundation. The Ghost Tree Invitational is a non-profit community event that is open to the public and benefits local charities throughout Central Oregon.
The Ghost Tree Invitational is now a three part event; Ghost Tree Invitational Golf Tournament - Ghost Tree Promenade du Vin at Pronghorn - Dinner on the Range.
Ghost Tree Golf Tournament: Friday September 5th, 2008
The Ghost Tree Invitational is Central Oregon's premiere tournament on Pronghorn's exclusive Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. The winning foursome from each division will receive a travel credit toward the vacation of their choice. Teams can compete in longest drive, closest to the pin, hole-in-one and putting challenges for opportunities to win such prizes as a brand-new luxury automobile. New Ghost Tree Promenade du Vin at Pronghorn: Friday September 5th, 2008
The wine and culinary enthusiast has another reason to love the Ghost Tree weekend. Ghost Tree Promenade du Vin features 30 of the finest wineries, chocolatiers, cheese producers, wine seminars/chats and specially prepared cuisine. As you sample the wines from each winery you can chat with their representatives and learn more about how they grow and produce their award winning wines. Spend the entire afternoon and evening expanding your wine knowledge and enjoying the amazing scenery of the Pronghorn clubhouse and event lawn. The event lasts from 1pm to 8pm and also includes wine judging and the ability to purchase wine direct from the wineries. Dinner on the Range: Saturday September 6th, 2008
Golfers and non-golfers alike will enjoy day two of this fabulous event—Dinner on the Range. This social event of the season is a first-class epicurean affair featuring sixteen renowned local chefs and the finest west coast wineries and breweries. Other activities include a silent auction and live music. Dinner on the Range also requires a separate ticket which is $200 per person, if you purchased a golf team then you already receive either (4) or (8) tickets depending upon which package you purchased.
